Every year Venngage reaches out to thousands of marketers to understand how they use visual content in their marketing and growth strategies. This year, 200+ top marketers told us what visual content helped them reach their goals in 2019, and how they see it impacting their work in 2020.
Most notably, there was a 10.5 percent increase in visual content usage compared to 2018. Also, 40 percent said that original graphics like infographics best helped them reach their marketing goals in 2019, with stock photos and charts/graphs coming in last. Almost 50 percent said visual content is “very important” to their marketing strategy–and blog content and landing pages are the top places they place this visual content.
