11 Entrepreneurs Reveal Their Why/Motivation

Entrepreneurs are driven by their passion for their business ideas, their vision for the future, and their desire to create something new and innovative. They are motivated by the challenges and obstacles that they face on their journey, and they use these experiences to learn and grow. Entrepreneurs also draw motivation from their team, their customers, and the impact that their business has on society. They understand that their success depends on their ability to stay focused, disciplined, and persistent in the face of adversity. Through their example, entrepreneurs teach us the importance of having a clear purpose, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take risks and learn from failure.

We asked entrepreneurs, and business owners what motivates them. Here are some responses.

As an entrepreneur, I've discovered soon in my journey that my why is to become the best version of myself, I don't want to live a mediocre life, I want to see how far I can go. It is not easy but this made me realize it's not about money, at every stage, it's about who I become and not what I get. It's a mission to make a difference in other's people lives and show them that no matter who you are and where you come from you can create a spectacular life, we can create something that lasts and nobody can take it away from us.

#9- For the excitement of my work

My “Why” as a content creator and coach — I want to do work that I am excited about. I want to be able to talk about the things on my mind and have interesting discussions with interesting people about these same topics. Put differently — I want to get paid for doing things that I'd be doing even if I wasn't getting paid for them. That is my ultimate “why.” What I don't want to do is commute to a soul-crushing 9 to 5 every morning and do work that I couldn't care less about.  I understand that is the reality of most people, but just because everybody is doing it doesn't make it right.

#10- Capturing fleeting and impactful moments

My “why” stems from a deep-seated passion for capturing fleeting yet profoundly impactful moments. As a wedding photographer, I am granted the unique privilege of immortalizing the essence of love and joy, transforming them into tangible memories that endure long after the festivities have concluded. This responsibility fuels my motivation, inspiring me to approach each event with creativity, empathy, and a keen eye for the authentic and raw emotions that define the human experience. My drive is about crafting a legacy of moments that speak to the heart.

#11- Making a positive difference in the world

I want to help people support their health by harnessing the healing power of plants. Why? Well, I’ve seen first-hand just how helpful this can be. When my mother was undergoing cancer treatment, we cooked hemp butter for her, and this helped her to restore her appetite and gain strength. When I realized that we might be able to use our knowledge to help others, I jumped at the chance. Knowing that I’m part of solving the problem, by providing high-quality products, helps me stay motivated. I know that I’m making a positive difference in the world.
