What is a Domain Registar?

A domain registrar is an organization or company that manages the registration of Internet domain names (e.g yourorganizationname.com, Google's domain name is google.com, Our domain name is cbnation.co or ceoblognation.com). Domain registrars are accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which is the organization that oversees the Internet's naming system.

Domain registrars are responsible for managing the availability of domain names, ensuring that they are unique and not already in use. They also handle the transfer of domain names when they are sold or otherwise change hands. In addition, registrars provide Whois services, which allow people to look up information about who owns a particular domain name.

There are many different domain registrars to choose from, and it's important to select one that is reliable and offers good customer service. Some factors to consider include price, features, and accreditation.
